The Chargers rallied to beat the Eagles 28-21 within the Class 4A semifinals on Saturday.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Chatfield’s dream run will attain the ultimate week of the soccer season.
The Chargers, who entered the Class 4A playoff bracket because the No. 7 seed, upset a higher-ranked crew for the second time in as many weeks on Saturday afternoon at Jeffco Stadium.
This time, it punched Chatfield ticket to the state championship sport with a 28-21 win over No. 3 Pine Creek within the semifinals.
“We dream of (taking part in for state) on a regular basis, however now that it is really occurring, it is fairly loopy,” senior operating again Jake Marschall mentioned.
The week prior, Chatfield had derailed No. 2 and beforehand undefeated Dakota Ridge within the quarterfinals.
