Horse struts catwalk at Chanel’s Paris Haute Couture present

PARIS (REUTERS) – French trend home Chanel shook up conventions by sending a horse out onto the catwalk at its Haute Couture present in Paris on Tuesday (Jan 25).

The animal was ridden by Charlotte Casiraghi, a niece of Prince Albert of Monaco and a aggressive showjumper who can be a Chanel model ambassador.

Sporting a Chanel jacket made from black tweed and adorned with sequins, Casiraghi rode out firstly of the present, cantering a number of occasions round a catwalk designed to resemble a horse coaching ring.
