Lauriane Genest rides to bronze in women’s keirin cycling at Tokyo Olympics – National

Canada’s Lauriane Genest has won the bronze medal in women’s keirin cycling at the Tokyo Olympics.

Keirin is an eight-lap track cycling event, in which the riders stay behind a motorized pace bike for the first few laps as they slowly get up to speed, exploding in a sprint to the finish.
