Monarch HS ladies basketball holds off Lakewood to remain undefeated

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — The Monarch ladies basketball crew is on a roll to begin the 2021-22 season.

Monarch, which is ranked No. 8 in Class 5A, has but to drop a sport and improved to 8-0 on Tuesday night time when the Coyotes fended off Lakewood 37-32 on the highway.

It was a defensive battle that remained a one-score sport till the ultimate minute. However that shut matchup was to be anticipated contemplating each groups entered the sport undefeated.
