Fortunately, there was a LAPD detachment only a block away.

“Foothill Division Officers displayed heroism and fast motion by saving the lifetime of a pilot who made an emergency touchdown on the railroad tracks at San Fernando Rd. and Osborne St., simply earlier than an oncoming prepare collided with the plane,” the LAPD account tweeted.
