Pop star and singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House today, in an effort to help promote youth COVID vaccinations.

The 18-year-old Rodrigo has a meeting later in the day with President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci, but she dropped by the White House briefing to share her message about the importance of young people getting their shots.
“It’s important to have conversations with friends and family members encouraging all communities to get vaccinated and actually get to a vaccination site, which you can do more easily than ever before,” Rodrigo said at the briefing.
Nearly 160 million Americans have been fully vaccinated, or over 55 percent of the population, but young adults have shown less interest.
