WASHINGTON—Amazon.com Inc. gained dismissal on Friday of an antitrust lawsuit introduced in opposition to it by the District of Columbia, which had alleged that the corporate harmed customers by blocking sellers on its market from providing higher offers elsewhere.
The lawsuit was tossed out by D.C. Superior Court docket Decide Hiram Puig-Lugo, in accordance with a docket entry, primarily based on Amazon’s movement to dismiss. The movement was opposed by D.C. Lawyer Common Karl Racine, whose workplace mentioned it was contemplating an attraction.
