EV Battery Maker’s Gross sales Pitch to the West: We’re Not Chinese language

SEOUL—South Korea’s LG Power Answer Ltd. has an audacious plan to dominate the world’s electric-vehicle battery business: emphasize that it isn’t Chinese language.

At present the world’s No. 2 EV battery maker, LG Power Answer, which works public in South Korea’s largest-ever itemizing on Thursday, has made its dominance in Europe and aggressive U.S. investments a pitch to traders. The Seoul-based firm plans to boost almost $11 billion, fattening a battle chest to construct new EV battery crops all over the world.
