Israeli Cyber Agency NSO Explores Sale, Closure of Adware Unit

TEL AVIV—Israeli cybersecurity firm NSO Group is exploring a possible sale of enterprise or the closure of its controversial adware unit, in keeping with an individual aware of the matter.

The transfer follows a latest U.S. choice to blacklist the corporate over allegations that NSO’s surveillance software program, known as Pegasus, has been used inappropriately. These pressures have put the corporate prone to defaulting on its debt, in keeping with scores agency Moody’s Corp.
