3 Filipino swimmers debut in Fina World Championships

MANILA, Philippines—Three Filipino swimmers made their debuts on the best stage as Jerard Jacinto, Sebastian Prepare dinner, and Chloe Isleta competed within the 2021 FINA World Championships (25m) at Etihad Enviornment in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Jacinto, a sophomore at Texas A&M, practically received Warmth 2 of Males’s 100-meter breaststroke as he led on the midway mark just for Luxembourg’s Max Mannes to grab first place at 53.63 seconds, 0.06 seconds quicker than the Filipino’s 63.69.

The second-place end in his warmth put Jacinto at thirty fifth out of 65 and meant that he didn’t make the semifinals as solely the 15 quickest swimmers would advance.
