3 people shot near Civic Center Park Friday

The incident happened near West Colfax Avenue and Broadway.

DENVER — The Denver Police Department (DPD) is investigating a shooting that sent three people to the hospital Friday night, leaving one of them dead and another critically injured. 

The call came in just after 8:30 p.m., police said.  

The incident took place in the area of West Colfax Avenue and North Broadway, near Civic Center Park.

A third victim had injuries that were not life-threatening, according to DPD.

Police said they have not made any arrests at this time, and the circumstances around the shooting are still unknown. 

The identities of the victims, all males, have not been released.
