An hourslong outage on Amazon.com Inc.’s cloud-computing unit Tuesday left Roomba vacuum cleaners dormant, streaming providers clean and delayed consumers from snapping up Adele presale live performance tickets.
Customers started reporting points with Amazon Internet Providers round 10:45 a.m. EST, in keeping with Downdetector, which tracks web site outages. A few half-hour later, the location confirmed almost 11,300 experiences of outages. The outages seemed to be concentrated in New York, Washington and Chicago, in keeping with Downdetector.
