ABU DHABI (REUTERS) – Max Verstappen has gained the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the Formulation One world championship for Crimson Bull on Sunday (Dec 12) after passing the Mercedes of title rival Lewis Hamilton on the final lap.
With each drivers tied on factors forward of the season finale, the Dutchman trailed arch rival Hamilton – who was gunning for a document eighth world title – for a lot of the incident-filled race earlier than clinching victory on the 58th and last lap on the Yas Marina circuit.
