The federal authorities has answered Manitoba’s name for extra nurses to assist the beleaguered crucial care system.
Canada’s Emergency Preparedness Minister, Invoice Blair, mentioned on Twitter Saturday afternoon that nurses from the Canadian Purple Cross might be deployed to Manitoba till Jan. 17.
A spokeswoman for Blair tells International Information the deployment of as much as eight nurses “for ICU, ER, acute care and common nursing” will start Monday, Dec. 20.
