A Liberal MP has been censured by his social gathering’s chief whip for defying recommendation to not journey in another country except the journey is crucial.
Chief authorities whip Steven MacKinnon issued an announcement Wednesday saying he’s “profoundly dissatisfied” that Liberal MP Yves Robillard travelled exterior Canada, in contravention of social gathering directions.
The whip says Liberal MPs had been advised to keep away from non-essential worldwide journey because the COVID-19 Omicron variant will increase its grip.
