Cineplex introduces .50 reserving charge for on-line film ticket purchases

TORONTO — Moviegoers could possibly be paying a bit of further to see a movie at a Cineplex theatre this summer season.

Canada’s largest movie exhibitor says it has launched a brand new $1.50 reserving charge that applies to every ticket bought by its cell app and web site.

The transfer comes as the corporate says it wants “to additional make investments and evolve our digital infrastructure.”
