Broncos gamers pledge donations in honor of Demaryius Thomas

DENVER — The Boys and Women Golf equipment of Metro Denver stated their “hearts are full” after Broncos gamers pledged to donate hundreds of {dollars} in honor of Demaryius Thomas, a supporter who regularly connected with children at the nonprofit’s events. 

Before Sunday’s victory against the Lions, Broncos safety Justin Simmons promised to donate $88 for every deal with in honor of quantity 88, Thomas, who died Thursday. 

The Broncos made 56 complete tackles, and after the sport, Simmons stated he would spherical that quantity to 60 and donate $5,280. 

Simmons stated he acquired the concept after speaking along with his spouse.
