Douglas County College Board to vote on masks

A draft decision reveals the board is contemplating canceling the masks mandate and forbidding a vaccine mandate.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — The newly-elected Douglas County College Board will vote this week on whether or not to do away with the district’s masks mandate.

A draft decision reveals the board is contemplating canceling the masks mandate and forbidding a vaccine mandate.

The saga of masks in Douglas County is an extended one. The district determined to observe suggestions of public well being leaders and require masks at the beginning of the college 12 months.

Then, the conservative county commissioners pushed them to finish the mandate.

The lawsuit was dismissed final month.

The board will vote Tuesday on whether or not to finish the masks guidelines.
