MANILA, Philippines—Filipino-Japanese karateka Junna Tsukii is again within the Philippines to organize for the approaching 2021 Asian Karate Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Tsukii, who received a gold medal within the 2019 Southeast Asian Video games, left Japan in September to compete in two tournaments in Europe earlier than flying to the Philippines.

“I’m lastly again within the Philippines! Now I’m getting ready with my workforce for the upcoming Asian Championship,” posted Tsukii.

Tsukii, who competes within the 50 kg girls’s kumite, has but to win a title within the continental degree and the closest she achieved was a bronze within the 2018 Asian Video games in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The 30-year-old additionally grabbed two bronze medals within the 2017 SEA Video games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 50 kg Kumite and Workforce Kumite.
