MESA COUNTY, Colo. — A Mesa County Sheriff Sergeant died Friday morning after a battle with COVID-19, in keeping with the division. 

Wayne Weyler was 64 years outdated.

The division stated Weyler was a legislation enforcement officer for 41 years. He began with the Adams County Sheriff’s Workplace earlier than becoming a member of the Mesa County Sheriff’s Workplace in 1996.
