Micron to hire more staff in Singapore as part of growth plans, amid growing demand for memory chips, Companies & Markets News & Top Stories

SINGAPORE – Chipmaker Micron Technology aims to hire hundreds of research and development (R&D) and manufacturing engineers here in the coming years to bolster its growth plans.

These hires are in addition to the 1,500 employees that the United States-based firm has taken on in Singapore since it completed the expansion of its Woodlands facility in 2019, said executive vice-president of global operations Manish Bhatia.
