GOLDEN, Colo. — The religious gateway to the Rocky Mountains is getting a $4.8 million facelift.
Mom Cabrini Shrine, a Golden retreat and pilgrimage middle whose tall statue of Jesus is seen from Interstate 70, has been exhausting at work making $4.8 million of enhancements to its property.
In the course of the pandemic, the nonprofit began a fundraising marketing campaign to develop its current chapel, reward store and add a customer café.
The nonprofit raised $4.5 million in 15 months, with native parishes chipping in, in addition to donors from across the nation and world.
