New plant-based meat brands hit the market, some developed in Singapore, Food News & Top Stories

SINGAPORE – A raft of new plant-based meat alternatives has come onto the market, offering choices not just for vegetarians and vegans, but also people wanting a flexitarian diet, where they cut out meat for some or most of their meals.

While tech start-ups used to dominate the market, multinational corporations have come on board, developing their own products and using their considerable resources to market the wares to retail customers and food businesses.
