People face COVID testing lags forward of holidays: 'We're very, very far behind'

The brand new coronavirus variant is driving a surge of COVID-19 circumstances in the USA. Omicron is now current in all 50 states – simply three weeks after it was first detected within the U.S. It has raised questions and issues about heightened transmissibility of the variant, its severity, and the shortage of obtainable testing, particularly throughout the vacation season.
