Tesla Inc. says regulators are harassing Chief Government Elon Musk over his compliance with a 2018 regulatory settlement that sought to limit his use of social media.
The Securities and Alternate Fee is conducting “unfounded investigations” of Mr. Musk and Tesla, attorneys for the corporate say in a letter filed Thursday with a federal choose who oversaw the settlement. Tesla disclosed earlier this month that regulators despatched a subpoena final 12 months that sought data exhibiting how the corporate and its CEO complied with the phrases of the deal.
